Another Level Records, a student operated record label, allows learners to explore the operations of the music industry first hand as they discover and record new artists, negotiate contracts, publish and copyright new music. They also manufacture, market and distribute recording projects completed by HSRA students as well as other artists. In addition to providing insight into the music industry, students participating in this program also gain valuable entrepreneurial skills necessary in starting their own businesses. ALR has released six CDs of HSRA student work.

David Ellis, the founder of Studio 4/HSRA and Another Level Records, has worked as a film actor, as an independent rap artist, and was recruited by Prince and Warner Brothers to record and produce records at Paisley Park. With a variety of experience in educational programs, both traditional and alternative, David created Studio 4 and the HSRA program. This endeavor has allowed him to combine his interests in music and education.
